Unit not level, Loose condenser coil or fan shroud, Panels or lines vibrating against cabinet, Items inside touching evaporator fan cover
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the freezer before tightening components or moving the unit.
- Step 1 – Level the freezer: Use a level to check side-to-side and front-to-back. Adjust leveling legs so the unit is stable and slightly tilted back.
- Step 2 – Check external contact: Ensure the freezer is not touching walls, cabinets, or other appliances that can transmit vibration.
- Step 3 – Inspect rear compartment: Tighten any loose screws on the condenser fan shroud, compressor mounting bracket, and rear panel.
- Step 4 – Internal items: Make sure baskets and food packages are not contacting the evaporator fan cover or rear panel, which can cause rattling.
