How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the freezer before removing the user interface panel. Do not spray cleaners directly on the control panel.
- Step 1 – Check for stuck buttons: Press each button on the control panel several times. If any feel stuck or do not click, the user interface may be damaged.
- Step 2 – Dry moisture: If condensation or liquid has entered the panel, unplug the unit and allow it to dry completely for 24 hours. Do not use heat guns directly on the panel.
- Step 3 – Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the UI panel and check the ribbon cable for cracks, kinks, or corrosion at the connector. Reseat or replace as needed.
- Step 4 – Replace UI board: If E7 persists, install a new Gladiator-compatible user interface board and reassemble the panel.
