Freezer exterior sides or front frame feel very hot to the touch.

Safety First: Unplug the freezer before cleaning coils or accessing the rear compartment.

• Step 1 – Check ventilation: Ensure there is adequate space around the Gladiator freezer for airflow, especially at the back and sides.
• Step 2 – Clean condenser: Vacuum and brush the condenser coils thoroughly.
• Step 3 – Verify condenser fan: Confirm the condenser fan motor runs whenever the compressor is on. Replace if not operating.
• Step 4 – Monitor: Some warmth on the cabinet frame is normal, but it should not be too hot to touch for more than a second or two. If it is, and cleaning/fan repair do not help, consult a technician.
