How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the freezer before deep cleaning. Avoid mixing bleach with ammonia-based cleaners.
- Step 1 – Remove all contents: Discard spoiled items. Place remaining food in a backup freezer or cooler.
- Step 2 – Clean interior: Wash all interior surfaces, shelves, and baskets with a solution of baking soda and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Step 3 – Clean gasket and drain pan: Wipe the door gasket folds and remove the rear access panel to clean the drain pan where odors can accumulate.
