Possible Causes

Unit not level, Loose compressor mounting, Tubing contacting cabinet, Loose interior components or baskets

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety First: Do not place hands under the freezer while it is running without proper support. Use caution when tilting the unit.

  • Step 1 – Level the freezer: Use a bubble level on top of the Gladiator freezer. Adjust the front leveling legs until the unit is level side-to-side and slightly tilted back.
  • Step 2 – Check clearances: Ensure the freezer is not touching walls or cabinets. Leave at least a small gap on all sides.
  • Step 3 – Inspect compressor mounts: Unplug the unit, remove the rear panel, and gently move the compressor. Tighten any loose mounting bolts or replace worn rubber grommets.
  • Step 4 – Secure tubing and panels: Bend any vibrating refrigerant lines slightly away from the cabinet and add foam sleeves or clips as needed. Tighten loose panels and interior shelves.
