Safety First: Unplug the freezer before working inside. Use warm—not boiling—water to avoid cracking plastic.

• Step 1 – Remove ice: Take out baskets and chip away loose ice with a plastic scraper. Do not use metal tools.
• Step 2 – Clear drain: Locate the drain hole at the back or center of the floor. Pour warm water into the drain until it flows freely to the pan below. Use a flexible tube or pipe cleaner to clear stubborn clogs.
• Step 3 – Inspect drain trough: Ensure the trough is properly sloped toward the drain and not cracked.
• Step 4 – Check gasket: Replace a leaking door gasket to reduce frost and water load.
