Grundig Normal Pressure Equalization / Door Vacuum

Possible Causes

Warm air entering and cooling rapidly, creating negative pressure, Door gasket sealing very well, Check valve or pressure equalization vent slow to respond

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: No repair is usually needed; this is often normal behavior.

Steps:

Wait a moment: If the door is hard to open right after closing, wait 30–60 seconds for pressure to equalize.
Check vent (if fitted): Some models have a small vent or valve to relieve vacuum. Ensure it is not blocked by packaging or dirt.
Gasket check: Confirm the gasket is not excessively sticky. Clean with mild soapy water and dry.
