How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before accessing controls.
Steps:
- Check temperature setting: Ensure the freezer is not set to OFF or a high temperature that prevents cooling.
- Door switch: Press and release the door switch manually. If the interior light does not respond correctly, replace the door switch.
- Sensor test: Measure the freezer NTC sensor resistance. Replace if faulty.
- Control board: If sensors and door switch are good but the compressor never receives power, the main PCB relay may be defective. Replace the main control PCB.
