How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before removing the control board cover.
- Power reset: Unplug for 10 minutes and plug back in to clear any temporary lockup.
- Check sensors: Faulty temperature or defrost sensors can prevent compressor start. Test NTC sensors and replace any that are out of spec.
- Inspect PCB: Look for burnt relays or darkened areas on the main control board. If found, replace the board.
- Relay test: A qualified technician can test whether the compressor relay is energizing when cooling is demanded. If not, replace the main PCB.
