Locate inverter module: On inverter models, the inverter board is mounted near the compressor, usually in a metal or plastic housing.
Inspect wiring: Check the harness from the main control PCB to the inverter for damage, burns, or loose plugs. Reseat all connectors.
Check for overheating: Look for discoloration or melted plastic on the inverter housing. A burnt smell often indicates inverter failure.
Compressor test: With power disconnected, measure resistance between compressor terminals. Compare to Haier specifications. Very high or zero resistance between any two terminals suggests a failed compressor.
Module replacement: If the compressor windings are within spec and wiring is intact, replace the inverter module with a Haier-compatible unit. Ensure proper mounting for heat dissipation.
Board replacement: If a new inverter does not clear E7, the main control PCB may have a communication fault and should be replaced.

Freezer displays E7 and may not cool or may run continuously.
