Freezer runs continuously and is still not cold enough.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer. Water from melting ice can create slip and shock hazards—use towels.

• Inspect evaporator: Remove inner rear panel and check for heavy ice buildup on the evaporator coil. A solid ice block indicates defrost failure.
• Manual defrost: Fully defrost the unit by leaving it unplugged with doors open for 24 hours or using a hair dryer on low (do not overheat plastic). Protect the floor from water.
• Test defrost components: After defrosting, test the defrost heater and thermostat/fuse for continuity. Replace any open components with Haier-approved parts.
• Check gasket: Inspect and replace a damaged door gasket to prevent warm, moist air from entering and causing excessive frost.
