Safety first: Unplug the freezer before opening the control panel.

- Inspect for moisture: If condensation or spills are present, dry the area thoroughly and allow time for evaporation.
- Reseat cable: Reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main board.
- Test buttons: With the panel open (and power restored if safe), test button response. If specific buttons never work, the keypad or touch PCB is likely faulty.
- Replace UI: Install a Hisense-compatible user interface board or keypad assembly.
If controls remain unresponsive after UI replacement, the main control board may not be processing inputs and should be checked by a technician.
