Possible Causes
Door left open too long, High internal temperature, Sensor error triggering alarm, Power interruption recovery
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Protect food by minimizing door openings while troubleshooting.
- Check door status: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is sealing all around. Remove items blocking closure.
- Silence alarm: Use the alarm mute button (if available) to silence the beeper while you troubleshoot.
- Check temperature: Use a thermometer to verify actual freezer temperature. If it is still warm after a recent power outage or loading, allow time to recover.
- Inspect for error codes: Some Hisense models show AL along with another code (e.g., H1). Address the underlying code first.
- Reset control: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect. If the alarm returns without any obvious cause, a sensor or control fault may be present.
Persistent alarms with normal temperature and door sealing should be investigated by a technician to check sensors and the control board.
