Possible Causes
Failed display PCB, Loose ribbon cable, Faulty touchpad, Control board not supplying display power
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel.
- Check cooling: Confirm whether the freezer is still maintaining temperature. If it is, the fault may be limited to the display/UI.
- Access control panel: Remove screws or clips holding the front display panel. Carefully pull it forward.
- Inspect connections: Reseat the ribbon cable and connectors between the display board and main PCB. Look for corrosion or damage.
- Check for power: Qualified persons can measure low-voltage supply to the display board. If absent, the main PCB may be faulty.
- Replace display board: If wiring is good but the display remains dead, replace the user interface/display PCB with a Hisense-compatible part.
If both the display and cooling are dead, suspect the main control board or power supply and seek professional service.
