How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not attempt repairs on live electrical circuits.
- Check household breaker: Reset any tripped breaker or replace blown fuse supplying the outlet.
- Test outlet: Plug in another device to confirm the outlet has power.
- Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or crushed sections. Replace the Hitachi power cord if damaged.
- Internal fuse: If comfortable, remove the main control PCB cover and check for a small glass or ceramic fuse. Replace only with the same rating.
- Control PCB: If the fuse is good and power is present at the board but the unit is dead, replace the main control PCB.
