Condensation or moisture on the outside of the freezer cabinet or around the door seal.

Safety: No internal electrical work is usually required. Wipe away moisture to prevent slipping.

• Reduce humidity: Improve room ventilation or use a dehumidifier if the freezer is in a damp area.
• Check door seal: Clean the gasket and cabinet mating surface with warm soapy water. Replace the gasket if it is damaged or not sealing.
• Limit door openings: Avoid leaving the door open for long periods, especially in humid weather.
• Mullion heater (if present): Some models have a heater around the door frame. If condensation is severe only around the frame, a technician may need to test and replace the mullion heater or related controls.
