How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the freezer before working on the control panel.

  • Dry the area: If there are signs of condensation or spills around the control panel, wipe the surface and allow the area to dry completely. Moisture can cause false key presses.
  • Remove control panel: Unscrew or unclip the control fascia to access the keypad or touch PCB.
  • Inspect keypad membrane: Look for cracks, delamination, or corrosion on the keypad contacts. Check the ribbon cable for kinks or breaks.
  • Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon cable to the UI board to ensure a good connection.
