Possible Causes

Rapid cooling of warm air inside cabinet, Effective door gasket seal, Check valve not present or blocked

Safety: No repair is usually required; this is often normal behavior.

Wait a few minutes: After closing the door, wait 1–2 minutes before reopening to allow internal pressure to equalize.
Check for over-sealing: Ensure the gasket is not excessively compressed or misaligned. Adjust door hinges if necessary.
Vent feature: Some models have a small vent or valve to relieve vacuum. Ensure it is not blocked by packaging or ice.
