How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before opening control housings.
- Stabilize environment: Ensure the freezer is not installed in a location with extreme temperature swings (e.g., unheated garage below 10 °C or in direct sunlight).
- Check sensor/thermostat wiring: Inspect connectors at the thermostat or NTC sensors and the main PCB. Reseat all plugs firmly.
- Monitor with thermometer: Place a reliable thermometer inside and log temperatures over 24–48 hours to confirm fluctuations.
- Replace suspect control: If tapping the thermostat or control panel causes the compressor to start/stop, replace the thermostat or main control board as appropriate.
