• Inspect harness: Locate the multi-wire harness or ribbon cable linking the UI to the main board. Check for pinched, cut, or burnt sections.
• Reseat connectors: Unplug and firmly reconnect both ends of the harness to ensure good contact.
• Check for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on pins; clean lightly with contact cleaner if minor, or replace the harness if severe.
• Board substitution: If wiring is intact, one of the boards is likely faulty. Start by replacing the user interface board; if the issue persists, replace the main control board.
• Test operation: After reassembly, restore power and verify that the display is stable and cooling is consistent.
