• 3. Recent loading: If you recently added a large quantity of unfrozen food, the alarm may be normal. Allow 12–24 hours for temperature to stabilize.
• 4. Check internal fan: With the door open, press the door switch (if present) to simulate a closed door. You should hear the evaporator fan running. If not, the fan motor may be faulty.
• 5. Listen for compressor: The compressor should cycle on and off. If it is silent for long periods while the interior is warm, there may be a compressor or control issue.
• 6. Clear ventilation: Ensure the rear and sides of the freezer are not blocked and that the condenser area is clean.
