Steps:

  • 1. Check temperature setting: Ensure the control is not set to the coldest or fast-freeze mode. Adjust to recommended setting.
  • 2. Reset control: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and observe operation.
  • 3. Test temperature sensor: Measure resistance of the freezer NTC sensor; a shorted sensor will read very low resistance and cause overcooling. Replace if out of spec.
