Freezer display shows E1 and temperature reading may be missing or replaced by dashes.

Locate the freezer sensor:

• Usually behind a small cover on the inner wall or clipped to the evaporator.

Steps:

• Remove the cover and inspect the sensor and wiring.
• Test resistance with a multimeter; replace the sensor if readings are out of range or open/short.
• Ensure the connector at the main PCB is firmly seated.
