How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before accessing any control boards.
- Step 1 – Reseat harnesses: Access both the main control board and user interface board. Unplug and reconnect the communication harness at both ends.
- Step 2 – Inspect wiring: Look for pinched, cut, or corroded wires along the harness path.
- Step 3 – Power cycle: Restore power and see if F6 clears. If it returns, one of the boards may be defective.
- Step 4 – Replace suspect board: Typically, the main control board is replaced first. If the issue persists, the user interface board may also need replacement.
