• 4. Test sensor resistance: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at known temperature. Replace if open, shorted, or far out of spec.
• 5. Replace sensor if needed: Install a new Kenmore-compatible thermistor, routing wires as originally installed.
• 6. Reassemble and test: Restore power and verify that F2 clears and the temperature display is accurate.
