• Step 1 – Verify actual temperature: Use an appliance thermometer to confirm the freezer is near 0°F.
• Step 2 – Check door switch and gasket: Ensure the door closes firmly and the switch is actuated every time.
• Step 3 – Power reset: Unplug the freezer for 5–10 minutes to reset the control, then monitor for recurring alarms.
