Possible Causes
Unstable mains voltage, Failing internal power supply on main PCB, Loose mains connection at terminal block, Faulty surge suppressor or filter board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Mains voltage is dangerous. Unplug the freezer before opening any electrical compartments. Only perform live voltage checks if you are trained.
Steps to address F3 (power error):
- 1. Check mains outlet: Plug another appliance into the same socket to confirm stable power. Avoid using long extension leads or multi-way adaptors.
- 2. Inspect mains cable: Check the Leisure freezer's power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Replace if damaged.
- 3. Access terminal block: Remove the rear lower panel and locate the mains terminal block or filter board. Ensure all screws are tight and there are no signs of overheating.
- 4. Inspect main PCB power section: Look for bulging capacitors or burnt components in the power supply area of the PCB.
- 5. Replace filter board or PCB if faulty: If the filter/suppressor board is visibly damaged, replace it with a compatible Leisure mains filter board. If the main PCB power supply is defective, replace the main control PCB.
- 6. After replacement: Restore power and monitor for stable operation without F3 reappearing.
