Er FS is another freezer sensor error code used on some LG models.
- Locate freezer sensor: Identify the thermistor on the freezer wall or near the evaporator cover.
- Inspect harness: Look for pinched or cut wires, especially where they pass through cabinet walls.
- Test thermistor: Disconnect and measure resistance. Replace if open, shorted, or far from spec.
- Check PCB connection: From the rear, ensure the sensor connector is firmly seated on the main board.
If Er FS remains after sensor and wiring checks, the main PCB may need replacement by a professional.
