Freezer drawers are difficult to open or close, or rails make grinding noises.

Safety: Remove heavy items before working on drawers to avoid injury.

• Empty drawer: Remove contents and lift the drawer out according to the user manual.
• Inspect rails: Check for ice, food debris, or damage in the slide rails. Clean thoroughly with warm water and dry.
• Check rollers: Inspect drawer wheels or rollers for cracks or flat spots. Replace if damaged.
• Lubrication: If allowed by LG, apply a small amount of food-safe silicone lubricant to metal-on-metal contact points (avoid plastic-only tracks unless specified).

Replace bent or severely worn rails with LG-specific drawer rail assemblies.
