Possible Causes
Freezer not level, Loose leveling legs or rollers, Compressor vibration transmitted to floor, Refrigerant lines touching cabinet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Use caution when tilting or moving the freezer; get assistance for heavy units.
- Level the unit: Place a level on the top. Adjust front leveling legs until the freezer is stable and slightly tilted back so the door closes by itself.
- Check floor contact: Ensure all legs or rollers are firmly contacting the floor. Tighten lock nuts if present.
- Isolate vibration: Place anti-vibration pads under the legs if the floor is resonant.
- Inspect rear tubing: Make sure refrigerant lines are not touching the cabinet; add foam spacers if needed.
Proper leveling and isolation usually resolve most vibration issues.
