• Thorough cleaning: Remove all shelves and baskets. Wash interior surfaces with a solution of baking soda and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Clean door gasket: Pull back the folds of the door gasket and clean with mild detergent to remove trapped debris and mold.
• Check drain pan: At the rear, remove and clean the drain pan above the compressor. Dry completely before refitting.
• Deodorize: Place an open box of baking soda or activated charcoal inside the freezer for several days to absorb residual odors.
