• Verify door closure: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is sealing all around.
• Check actual temperature: Use a separate thermometer to confirm if the freezer is truly too warm or too cold.
• Silence alarm: Press the Alarm Reset button to silence. If AL returns, investigate temperature control, sensors, and airflow.
• Inspect vents and load: Avoid overpacking and blocking air vents. Allow 24 hours after large food loads.
• Sensor/control diagnosis: If temperature is off, test the freezer thermistor and replace if out of spec. If sensor is good, suspect the electronic control board.
