Display shows CL and controls may be locked; buttons do not respond.

Safety first: This is not an electrical hazard; no need to unplug unless removing panels.

• Unlock controls: Press and hold the Control Lock or Lock button (sometimes combined with Temp Up/Down) for 3–5 seconds until CL disappears.
• Check keypad: If CL will not clear, some buttons may be stuck. Gently press each button to ensure free movement.
• Power cycle: Unplug the freezer for 5 minutes, then plug back in and try unlocking again.
• Replace UI: If the lock cannot be cleared and buttons are unresponsive, the user interface board may need replacement.
