Freezer makes a loud rattling or vibrating noise, especially when the compressor starts or stops.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before tightening screws or moving it.

• Level the unit: Adjust the front leveling legs so the freezer is solid and does not rock. Use a level on the top.
• Check surroundings: Remove items from the top of the freezer that may vibrate.
• Tighten hardware: Inspect and tighten screws on the rear access panel, condenser fan shroud, and compressor mounting bracket.
• Isolate lines: Add foam or rubber padding where refrigerant lines contact the cabinet.
