Water or ice buildup on the bottom of the freezer interior.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before working inside.

• Remove ice: Take out baskets and chip away loose ice with a plastic scraper. Do not use sharp tools.
• Access drain: Remove the rear interior panel to expose the evaporator and drain trough.
• Thaw drain: Pour hot (not boiling) water into the drain hole until water flows freely into the drain pan below. Use a turkey baster or squeeze bottle.
• Clean tube: From the rear, locate the drain tube and ensure it is not kinked. Clean with a flexible brush if accessible.
