Freezer interior light not working but cooling is normal

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before replacing any light components.

Steps:

• 1. Check door switch: Press the door switch manually. If the fan responds but the light does not, the switch is likely OK and the light circuit is suspect.
• 2. Replace light module: On many Miele freezers, the light is an LED module behind a plastic cover. Remove the cover and replace the module with a genuine Miele part.
• 3. Wiring check: If a new module does not light, inspect wiring from the light to the control board for damage.
• 4. Control board: A failed light driver on the PCB will require board replacement if all else is good.
