Possible Causes

Door left open, high temperature event, power outage, sensor reading out of range, blocked air vents

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No internal work is required for basic alarm clearing.

  • Check door: Ensure the door is fully closed and sealing. Silence the alarm using the control panel if available.
  • Verify temperature: Use a thermometer to confirm actual freezer temperature.
  • Check vents: Make sure interior air vents are not blocked by food items.
  • Allow recovery: After a power outage or door left open, allow 12–24 hours for temperature to return to normal.

If the AL alarm persists with normal temperature and proper door closure, a sensor or control fault may exist; see sensor-related codes (E1/E2) and consider professional diagnosis.
