How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing sensors or control boards.
- Adjust settings: Raise the temperature setting by a few degrees and monitor for 24 hours.
- Check sensor: Test the freezer thermistor as described in E2. Replace the freezer temperature sensor if readings are out of range.
- Inspect control board: If the sensor is good but the compressor runs excessively, the main control board may be stuck calling for cooling and may need replacement.
