Possible Causes

Unit not level, loose leveling legs, compressor vibration transmitted to cabinet, refrigerant lines touching cabinet

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Use caution when tilting or moving the appliance.

  • Level the unit: Place a level on top of the freezer. Adjust front leveling legs so the unit is level side-to-side and slightly tilted back.
  • Check floor contact: Ensure all legs are firmly contacting the floor. Tighten lock nuts if present.
  • Isolate vibration: Install anti-vibration pads under the legs if the floor is flexible.
  • Inspect tubing: From the rear, ensure copper lines are not touching the cabinet. Gently bend or pad them to prevent contact.
