Freezer shows E18 and may not respond to button presses or settings changes.

Safety: Disconnect mains power before working on the control panel.

Steps:

• 1. Inspect buttons: Check if any buttons feel stuck or do not return when pressed. Gently free any stuck buttons.
• 2. Remove fascia: Take off the control panel cover and inspect the keypad area for signs of liquid ingress or corrosion.
• 3. Clean contacts: If accessible, clean the keypad contacts and PCB with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely.
• 4. Replace UI assembly: If cleaning does not resolve the issue, replace the entire user interface assembly or keypad membrane with a Neff-compatible part.
