Digital display is blank or very dim, but the freezer is still cooling.

Safety: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel.

Steps to restore display:

• 1. Check cooling: Confirm that the compressor and fans are operating and interior temperature is acceptable. The issue may be limited to the display.
• 2. Access display panel: Remove the front control fascia to expose the display PCB and connectors.
• 3. Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable or harness between the display and main control PCB.
• 4. Inspect display board: Look for burnt components or water damage. Replace the display PCB if visibly damaged or if reseating does not restore function.

Note: If you can still adjust temperature using buttons despite no display, keep a separate thermometer inside to monitor until the display is repaired.
