Possible Causes
Blown LED module or bulb, Faulty door switch, Loose light connector, Failed light driver on main PCB (for LED strips)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before replacing bulbs or LED modules.
Steps to restore interior lighting:
- 1. Check door switch: Press the door switch manually; if the light does not come on but the switch also controls the fan, see if the fan responds. Replace the switch if it is intermittent.
- 2. Replace bulb or LED module: Remove the light cover and inspect the lamp or LED module. Replace with a compatible New World part.
- 3. Inspect wiring: Ensure the light connector is firmly seated and wires are not damaged.
- 4. PCB driver: If a new lamp/LED and switch do not restore light, the main control PCB light driver may have failed and the board may need replacement.
Note: Use only the specified wattage and type of lamp to avoid overheating the light housing.
