Possible Causes

Loose internal panels or baskets, Rear cover panel vibrating, Pipes or capillary tube rattling against cabinet, Fan shroud loose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the freezer before tightening screws or adjusting panels.

Steps to cure rattling/vibration:

  • 1. Isolate the source: Gently press on different areas (side panels, rear cover, door) while the noise occurs to identify what changes the sound.
  • 2. Tighten panels: Secure any loose screws on the rear cover, internal liners, or fan shrouds.
  • 3. Check baskets and shelves: Remove and refit baskets or drawers. Add felt pads or rubber strips where metal parts contact each other.
  • 4. Secure tubing: Use foam sleeves or clips to prevent the refrigerant pipes and capillary tube from touching the cabinet or each other.

Tip: Placing the freezer on a solid, level surface and using anti‑vibration pads under the feet can further reduce noise.
