Control panel unresponsive, buttons do not change settings but display is lit

Safety: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• 1. Check control lock: Refer to the user manual for the control lock/unlock key combination (often holding a specific button for several seconds).
• 2. If still locked: Remove the control panel and inspect the ribbon cable and connectors for damage.
• 3. Replace keypad/display PCB: If the cable is intact but buttons remain unresponsive, install a new Panasonic control panel assembly.
