How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing rear panels and boards.
Steps:
- 1. Access boards: Remove the rear lower panel to access the inverter PCB near the compressor, and the upper or front panel to access the main control PCB.
- 2. Check harness: Locate the multi-core communication cable between the main PCB and inverter. Ensure both ends are fully seated and the locking tabs are engaged.
- 3. Inspect cable: Look for crushed, cut, or chewed sections along the cable path. Replace the harness if any conductor appears damaged.
- 4. Connector cleaning: Unplug and replug the connectors several times to clean oxidation from the pins.
- 5. Power test: Restore power and see if H11 clears. If not, either the inverter PCB or main PCB is not communicating correctly.
- 6. Board diagnosis: Without Panasonic diagnostic tools, board-level fault isolation is difficult. If wiring is confirmed good, replacement of the inverter PCB is more common, but both may require testing by a technician.
