Possible Causes
Uneven floor, Leveling feet not adjusted, Compressor mounting grommets worn, Unit contacting adjacent cabinets
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before adjusting rear components. Use caution when tilting or moving the unit.
Steps to stabilize:
- 1. Level the cabinet: Place a level on top of the freezer. Adjust the front leveling feet until the unit is level and does not rock when pushed diagonally.
- 2. Add anti-vibration pads: Place rubber pads or shims under the feet to improve grip on smooth floors.
- 3. Check rear rollers: Ensure rear rollers are not damaged and that the unit is not resting on an uneven surface.
- 4. Inspect compressor mounts: Remove the rear lower panel and check the rubber grommets under the compressor. If they are cracked or missing, have them replaced to reduce vibration transfer.
- 5. Ensure clearance: Make sure the freezer is not touching walls or cabinets that can transmit vibration.
Note: Some vibration is normal, but the unit should not move across the floor.
