How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
- Check for lock mode: Many Samsung freezers have a Child Lock or Control Lock. Press and hold the lock button (or Freezer + Alarm on some models) for 3–5 seconds to unlock.
- Dry the panel: If condensation or spills occurred, wipe the panel dry and allow it to air out for several hours.
- Inspect connections: Remove the control panel and check the ribbon cable and connectors for corrosion or looseness. Reseat firmly.
- Replace touch PCB: If specific buttons never respond, replace the Samsung touch control PCB.
