• Defrost fill tube: If frozen, gently thaw with a hair dryer on low, keeping the nozzle moving to avoid melting plastic.
• Access heater wiring: On many Samsung models, the ice pipe heater is embedded around the fill tube and wired through the door harness. Inspect visible wiring and connectors at the top door hinge.
• Test heater: If accessible, disconnect the heater leads and measure resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed heater.
• Replace heater (if serviceable): Install a new Samsung ice pipe heater assembly per model instructions. On some models, the heater is integrated into the door and requires door replacement, which should be done by a professional.
• Restore power and water: Turn power and water back on, then monitor for 33E and proper ice production. Persistent errors may indicate a PCB issue.
