How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before working in the ice room.
- Access sensor: Remove the ice bucket and ice room cover. Locate the small sensor mounted on the wall or duct of the ice room.
- Inspect sensor and wiring: Check for moisture damage, cracked sensor housing, or pinched wires.
- Test sensor: Disconnect the sensor and measure resistance at room temperature. Compare to Samsung NTC specs. Replace if out of range.
- Replace sensor: Install a new Samsung ice room sensor, reconnect the harness, and secure it in the original location.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall covers, restore power, and monitor for 41E. If the error returns, the PCB or door harness may be defective.
