Buttons on the control panel do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety: Unplug before working on the control panel.

Steps:

• Clean surface: Wipe the control panel with a dry or slightly damp cloth to remove residues. Do not allow liquid to enter seams.
• Reseat cable: Remove the panel and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB.
• Inspect for moisture: If condensation or spills are present, dry the area thoroughly before reassembly.
• Replace UI: If specific buttons never work or are erratic, replace the user interface/control panel assembly.
